After three years of meticulous engineering and design work, Solara Systems, in collaboration with JXR Constructors as the Prime contractor and Emcor/Mesa Energy, has successfully
completed a monumental Unified Building Management Systems (UBMS) project at the VA Loma Linda. Initially projected to take two years, the extensive overhaul was completed in
just five months, thanks to Solara's unparalleled expertise and efficiency.
The project encompassed a comprehensive upgrade involving a 1200 VAV/T-Stat swap out and all associated cabling.
Solara Systems was pivotal in the design, engineering, and installation of a state-of-the art fiber optic backbone that spans the entire hospital, connecting 34 Service Bay/IT Rooms.
This advanced network operates independently of the existing IT network, featuring the latest technologies, including a single mode fiber optic network, POE switches, and Cat6 cabling to
the edge devices.
This ambitious $5.6 million dollar project highlights Solara's capability to deliver
complex projects on time and within budget, cementing their position as leaders in the field of Building Automation.
